Governing Board Brief - August 11, 2026

Gilbert Public Schools held a Work Study and Brief Board Business Meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. The meeting began at 6:00 pm in the Governing Board meeting room.

• All board members were present, and the agenda was approved as outlined without modification.
• Mr Tyler Dumas, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning; Mr Robert Bircher, Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Elementary; and Ms Cheryl Pollack, Director of Federal Affairs and State Reporting, presented on 'Early Literacy and Student Support Specialists'.
• Ms Crystal Zachary, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, presented '2026/27 Revised Budget #1'.
